What is Sensitive Data?
There are many ways to classify data as sensitive. For the most part this is common sense. The following should always be treated as sensitive data and handled appropriately, particularly when combined with the owner's name:- Social Security Numbers
- Banking or Financial Account Numbers
- Passwords or PIN numbers
- Educational Records
- Individually Identifiable Health Information
- Government Issued ID Numbers
