Digital Media Services
The 'Studio'
This Studio offers several media services to the faculty, staff, and graduate
students of the College of Humanities. All digital media services are offered
free-of-charge for teaching, research, and administrative projects. However, we
do not provide media such as blank tapes or recordable C.D.'s. Also, please read
our duplication policy prior to requesting services.
Drop-Off Services

Media Duplication

1-to-1 copies of CD-ROM, audio CD, DVD, VHS, video CD, and audio cassette.

'Self-serve' duplication available for larger requests.

Image Scanning

From photos, slides, brochures, and posters.

File formats: jpg, tiff, png, gif, psd, pdf.

Delivery methods: Media manager, email, CD, DVD, FTP.

Text Scanning

We can scan documents, pages from books, newsletters, and most other text items
in English.

File formats: doc, pdf.

Delivery methods: Humanities network account, CD, email.

American/Foreign VHS/DVD Conversions

Foreign (PAL, SECAM) to American VHS (NTSC).

NTSC to PAL, SECAM.

Foreign DVD to American DVD (region 1).

Audio Digitizing

We can take almost any audio source and digitize it for playback in the classroom,
the car, an ipod and more.

Video Digitizing

We can take just about any video source and prepare it for computer, web, or DVD
playback.
