Infrastructure Services provides a secure, high-availability network infrastructure backed by professional support for the College of Humanities. Our team provides and maintains the network infrastructure that enables you to access your vital information from office, home and abroad. This network infrastructure is comprised of numerous file, print and web servers, network switching gear and storage area networks (SAN’s). We support and monitor this infrastructure around the clock to ensure that the data is available when needed. Infrastructure Services also maintains off-site backups and a secondary data center for disaster recovery purposes.Here are just a few of the services provided by Network Services:
- Data storage and user authentication
- Printing services
- Online calendaring and resource management
- Nightly data backups with data restores upon request
- Network protection including: firewalls, virus scanning, and malware scanning
